Utility Auditing Service:
Chamber members may sign up for a utility audit (administered through the Eric Ryan Corporation) at a discount of the regular rate. The Eric Ryan Corporation is an Ellwood City based firm that specializes in auditing utility and telephone bills. The services can be performed on a shared savings basis. That means there is no cost to the Chamber member unless the audits reduce cost either by obtaining refunds from the providers or making billing changes that reduce costs going forward. Members are required to provide a full year of prior utility bills and/or the past two months’ telephone bills. Overall, there has been a 90% success rate in the audits that have been performed. County, State, and Federal Business Advocacy:
Advocacy is available to member businesses through the efforts of the Chamber’s Legislative Committee as well as its Executive Committee. Chamber members are encouraged to communicate specific legislative concerns to the Chamber office, so that these issues are brought to the attention of local, state and federal legislators. Notary Service:
The Chamber provides free notary services for Chamber members. Notary services are available to non-members at a cost of $5.00 per transaction. Notary hours are: M-F, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: This service is not available for vehicle titles.
Advertising:
Many advertising opportunities exist for Chamber members. Chamber members can exhibit their marketing materials (business cards, brochures, etc.) in the Chamber lobby. Members also have the opportunity to link their website with ours AT NO COST as part of the Chamber's Membership Directory. Advertising space may also be purchased in the Business Brief , the Chamber's newsletter. Business card size ads are available for $10.00 and inserts are available for $25.00 (you must provide copies). Business Counseling:
